I created my range to enrich my passion for natural, holistic living & to inspire others to use healthy, whole-plant products to nurture their skin & spirit. Taking a little time to reconnect daily, through simple, self-care rituals is a beautiful thing & good for your soul...
I live by the motto ‘nature is where the wisdom lies’ and this is reflected in each of my products by bringing together nourishing plant oil blends and healing herbs designed to benefit ALL skin types and most importantly for you to enjoy using.
I love my work, it keeps me connected to nature & growing herbs in my own garden has become an enjoyable past time to use both in my products & to support my families health. I believe by using local ingredients for my products this enhances their energetic s. I currently make my own Herbal Oil Infusions using Roses, Elderflowers, Calendula, Kawakawa, Comfrey, Lemon Balm & Chamomile from my own garden or within my local Whitecliffs community. This will evolve to my capacity.
Unisex Essential Oil Blends are used in most of my products at low, skin-friendly percentages, to resonate with nature & are appealing to the senses.
I offer 'essential oil-free' products for those who prefer them, they still carry lovely subtle scents due to their Natural Plant Oils. NZ Blackcurrant, Raspberry Seed & Strawberry Seed Oils particularly shine through.
Everyone’s skin can go through changes due to life stages, hormones, pregnancy, environment, stress, and weather seasons to name a few. This is where a consistent whole-plant skincare routine is key, along with eating natural wholefoods, staying hydrated, drinking herbal teas, spending time in nature & sunlight, connection with others, daily movement, quality sleep, along with rest & relaxation all help to calm and re-set your nervous system & support your skin's return to it's natural radiant state.
Be Wise formulas are designed to deliver pure, concentrated nutrition to your skin, restore it's natural balance and promote vibrant skin health.

Natural & Organic Ingredients
All Be Wise products are hand blended in my small (yet spacious) & functional Apothecary Studio in Whitecliffs Village, located in West Canterbury, South Island of New Zealand.
Only the highest-quality natural and organic, pure plant ingredients & beeswax are used.
Pure essential oils are used in most of the Be Wise products at a 1% or less dilution for their skin health benefits and as natural fragrance. There are also fragrance-free products available for people needing to avoid essential oils, for different reasons.
Eco-friendly Packaging
I am deeply conscious of the impact that packaging of all kinds has on the environment & I strive to reduce unnecessary materials.
I package my products using recyclable & reusable light-protective amber glass jars, aluminum tins or composable paperboard containers & I ship using Eco-friendly materials, many of which are reused from shipments & supplies that have arrived here at the studio.
Many of my local customers save & return their glass jars to me to be reused. I also offer refill options where possible, in my range.
Every effort is made to have the lowest environmental impact as possible; this is an ever-evolving journey, and any ideas or feedback are welcomed.
Be Wise Ethics
Be Wise Skincare use whole plant & organic ingredients, homegrown herbs & natural raw materials, along with beautiful local, pure beeswax from ethical and caring beekeepers. Important to note their wax is glyphosate-free.
Careful sourcing of fresh, pure ingredients & raw materials by supporting mindful Kiwi Business's & small farms practicing regenerative agriculture both locally in NZ & globally.
